I'm still so angry that they took away warlock tanking. Man. I'm just glad I hadn't wasted my free 90 on him yet. In fact I'm so disgusted with the whole affair that there's a good chance I'll be deleting him. Thanks, Blizzard, your one change rendered the whole class unplayable.
Know what else apparently sucks now? Mages. Gutted spellbooks and complete loss of versatility. If you're an arcane mage, hope you don't want any fire spells at all. You only get one kind of armor per spec. Meanwhile the rotations appear to be completely unchanged. Oh, except you can only get Living Bomb if you're fire.
Mages used to be able to throw down fire and ice no matter what spec they were. Now they're hyper-specialized. I can't imagine arcane having any kind of decent AOE, what with being limited to Arcane Explosion. In fact it looks a lot like frost is essentially the only viable spec for leveling, and man I hate playing frost mages.
So in general it looks like the clothies got it in the shorts this expansion. Unless priests are still good. Maybe I'll roll one of them. Play me a Jedi. Panda Jedi, yeah. Get him up to 60, buy Jewelcrafting and Tailoring, cash in the free 90, Bob's your uncle. Much cooler character and it costs me nothing. And it actually absolves me of the need for my DK, as he's currently my blacksmith/jewelcrafter. I don't actually need a blacksmith, but a JC would be nice. And I need a tailor for the bags. So killing the lock and the DK and rolling the priest ... that idea has potential.
Yeah. Done deal.
