Has it really been six months?

Yeesh.  Sorry bout that, y'all.

I uh.  I don't know that I actually have any readers.  But anyway.

So the Legion data-mine.  How about that?  Here's my takeaway.

What Pleases Me

• Outlaw spec.  Nuff said.
• Burst of Speed becoming baseline.  Booya.
• The triumphic return of bearcat (or catbear) druids.
• 969 is back, baby!
• Holy power is gone forever.
• Auras, oot oot
• Ashbringerrrrrrrr
• Fjarnskaggl :D
• Sekrit bases in Dalaran.
• Demon Hunters look pretty metal, ngl
• Apparently an actual 5-man progression path?
• BOOOOOOOOONESTOOOOOOOOOORM

Less Pleased With

• Melee SV?  WTF? (Okay, okay, I did suggest exactly these changes a couple years ago.  Like, on the nose.  But then I started actually playing SV.)
• Brewmaster monks losing Touch of Death?  Fie!
• RIP Gladiator Stance.  I hardly knew ye.  At all.  My warrior isn't at 100 yet and now I'm not going to bother.
• Actually BM monks look to be getting the shaft pretty hard all around.  Oh well.
• Doomhammer was a dumb decision for Enhancement Shamans.  
• No more raid buffs? :B
• No more major glyphs? >:(
• Garrison going bye-bye.  I've spent a hundred thousand gold on garrisons this expansion.  (Though I'd be a lot more pissed if I hadn't turned around and earned a half-million from the investment.)

Still Wishing For

• The death of gathering skills.  Seriously, why are these not yet baked into the appropriate trade skills?
• Battle.net-linked bank tab
• My gorram submarine.  Cmon Blizz!

So to summarize: my Rogue, Paladin, and Druid appear to be the big winners, while my Monk and Hunter will probably be warming the bench in 7.0.  Warlocks were ruined at the end of Mists but Demon Hunters more than make up for it, Warriors looked like the new hotness until Gladiator Stance went away -- glad I found out about that before wasting my character boost.

As for the rest, well ... Mages haven't been on my radar since Wrath, and Priest, Shaman, and DK haven't ever been period.  Haven't seen anything yet that would inspire me to change that stance (BOOOOOOOOONESTOOOOOOOOORM notwithstanding).

That being said, I think there's a lot to love about Legion.  Sure, they're ruining my two WoD "mains", but getting my beloved tankadin back might just make up for it.  And Outlaw rogue?  Pistols and rapiers and stabbity stab stab?  I literally cannot wait.

Expect the blog to get a new name once the dust has settled.  Meantime, we might be quiet until the beta is in full swing.  Stay tuned!
