This is my usual pattern, of course, play like an addict for a month or so, get bored of it, and log on every once in a while over the next six months. Little bursts of progress in between other projects. It's not a very effective way of doing things, I'll say right up front.
What have I been working on? Let's take a tour.

| Not me...yet |
Firstly, I learned about this Sky Golem thing and decided that I wanted to make one. This, of course, requires the farming of titanic amounts of ghost iron. One can, however, cut down on that amount of farming significantly by, um, farming. Snakeroot plants, specifically. So it was off to grind Tillers to Revered, and now I farm up a few Trillum bars every day.

Over the course of farming up Tiller rep I decided it would be a good time to start using all those cooking mats I've been accumulating, so I spent part of yesterday afternoon leveling my cooking up to 575. I'm told that Wok is the Way to go if you're a monk, so that's been my primary. Now, of course, I have to make feasts if I want to go any further, but I'm not sure there's any specific utility in that. 25 extra AGI seems kind of paltry when I've got about ten thousand already, but hey, every little bit helps.
And then I remembered that fishing was a thing, and now there's totally an entire faction for that. So it was off to southern Krasarang to get in with the Anglers. Yay for another daily grind. But it's okay, I was super broke, so the dailies help with the money.
I ran my first scenarios yesterday too. I mean apart from Theramore, which I did way back when. They were alright, nice little chunks of content. I'm thinking I should probably spec WW when I go into them though -- 30k DPS doesn't seem like much these days. Trouble is, I hate WW. I'll happily declare it to be the worst spec in the game right now. Except for maybe Balance.
I got involved with the Brawler's Guild but I'm stuck on the third boss. I don't know if it's latency or what but the timing involved is just too precise.
So as you can see, I've been finding lots of things to do on my main that aren't raiding. And I haven't even begun that whole Legendary quest line. Frankly I'm not sure I'm going to bother -- it's a ridiculous time investment for something that's going to be irrelevant when the next expansion drops. If I'd been doing it all along that'd be one thing, but now...?
Oh, and then there's the alts.
I've been working on my rogue. He has a fabulous transmog, as you can see:

| Let's not ruin this with words |
I want to get him to 90, but I've been leveling through dungeons because I've been through Outland just too many times. He's 69 now so I might start doing quests in Northrend again, just because man, I love the fjord. I can do Howling Fjord, go to Grizzly Hills, over to Sholozar, and then into Icecrown. Maybe do some dungeons along the way for giggles.
I've got kind of a bug up my ass to get my alt army up to 90. That's a rogue, a paladin, a mage, a druid, a hunter, and a warlock, probably in that order. I might just do it like "run an instance a day on each of them" or something, since I mean I know I'm not going to be maining any of them.
WoW is an embarrassment of riches right now. There's literally too much to do.
